How it all started...
In 1989 a group of Christians gathered to prayerfully start a new church in the Rocky Mount area. The young congregation moved around for several years, meeting at the YMCA, a storefront and a local high school. Then in 2016 they built a place of worship in a neighborhood on the north side of Rocky Mount.
Expanding the vision...
Through the years, the people's faithfulness to walk humbly with God shaped who we are as a church today. Our story is really the story of what God has done in bringing together a group of people from many backgrounds all worshiping one Lord and living out that ancient Christian motto, "In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things love." .
Where we are headed...
Jesus said, "Follow me." We are a church filled with people who said yes. We don't pretend to have it all figured out, but this we know for sure, Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Every week we gather to say thank you for his amazing grace. It's more than a song. It's our reality. We'd love to have you join us.
