Welcome
We are glad you found us! SHF is made up of ordinary people from all walks of life. We're nurses, business owners, plumbers, accountants, stay-at-home moms, doctors, teachers, and more. We public school, private school, and home school. You'll fit right in regardless of where you are at in life. We're not looking for any certain type of person to be at our church, we're all looking at the Savior.
What To Expect
First, we will be genuinely glad that you are here.
You'll be greeted with smiling faces as you come in the main entrance. You can relax because we don't ask guests to identify themselves during the service. Wear whatever is comfortable. You'll see people in jeans, t-shirts, dresses and suits. We'd love for you to hang around after the service and meet new people.
Second, we will be prepared for your visit.
All of our song lyrics will be up on a screen, so don't worry if some songs are unfamiliar. Do you have children? We provide a safe nursery for our service and offer Kids' Ministry up to 6th grade during the sermon. Both are optional, so you're always welcome to keep them with you for the whole service.
Third, we will intentionally be focused on God.
We joyfully sing old and new songs and preach sermons that point to Christ. We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week, open to all Christians, members or not. Sunday mornings are when we recharge from long weeks or seasons of hardship. It's where we focus on Christ's love for us and how that fuels our love for others.
